M.Sc Chemistry - Basaveshwar Science College

Department Of Chemistry Basaveshwar science college Bagalkot has been established as an Arts & Science college in the year 1945 by B.V.V.Sangha Bagalkot. Chemistry as one of the major and minor subjects has been introduced in the same year. Basaveshwar science college was bifurcated in the year 1967 as an Independent Science College in the undivided Bijapur District. Since its inception of Chemistry Department and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, the Department showing exponential progress rate. At present there are three well equipped laboratories. There is a newly established research laboratory with essential equipments like Flame photometer, Digital Balance, Muffle Furnace, Naphthalometer, Turbiitymeter, Spectrophotometer, Monoqurtz Distillation Unit etc useful for the students and staff in continuing the research work. The Members of staff have published search papers in national/international journals and have attended various national /international seminars/workshops.
