Diploma in Footwear Manufacture & Design - The trainees have to undertake project work individually as well as in group throughout the two-year duration. These projects are based on technical as well as on management subjects. During second year, each trainee has to prepare a final project covering all aspects of shoe making i.e. starting from factory set up to pattern development of a particular design to the marketing of shoes as selected by the individual trainee. Considerable weightage has been given to the final project for determination of final grade.
