Diploma Information Sciences (DIS) - The Graduate Diploma in Information Sciences is intended mainly for graduates in one area who are seeking to retrain in a specific area of information sciences or update their knowledge and skills in that area. The programme takes one year or the equivalent by part-time study. information management has become an important resource more than ever before. Access to information has enhanced development in society at large. It is therefore important to equip all people working in libraries and other information management centers with knowledge and skills to collect, organize, store, retrieve and disseminate information.
