Master of Education (MEd)

Master of Education (M.Ed), is a two years Postgraduate professional study program in India. The course is covered with instruction counseling and administration which is especially needed for educators preferring to advance their skill and knowledge in Educational field. The Master’s professional course is mainly offered by institutions that are recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi It’s a statutory Government body engaged in the work of improving and implementing teachers education programs in the Country. The program is suitable for those candidates wants to establish their career as Teacher or Educational Researcher. The study provides knowledge of Education System and Patterns more Profoundly and Comparatively, by pursuing in this program. Candidates can develop an understanding of the contributions of various Indian School of Philosophy and also in the field of Education. The study helps to gain more experience and technical finesse required to preparing advance teacher or educator for Country. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of specialized master’s subjects Like Educational Technology, educational Management, Women's Studies, Language Education, Teacher Education, Guidance and Counselling, Special Education, Environment Education, Yoga Education and also Rural Education.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Degree Course, with a minimum aggregate of 50 - 55 %, compulsorily and Bachelor’s Degree or Postgraduate for any stream are eligible for pursuing Master’s Degree course. In India, some Universities and Institutes conduct their own entrance exam and admission given on the merit bases.

Course Duration & Learning Mode

The medical study requires 2 years of time period with internship in India, It’s a Full Time study program but candidates can also pursu with Part Time through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon certain criteria .
