M.Sc.Oceanography & Coastal Area Studies- Two years long Master of Science in Oceanography and Coastal Studies course. This course concentrates at practical as well as theoretical knowledge of Oceanography and Coastal Studies. Objective of the course is to generate quality professionals in the field of Oceanography and Coastal Studies.Oceanography is a subject that deals with physical, chemical, biological, geographical and behavioral nature of the ocean. Hence it also includes the study of coastal Areas to make a complete package of expertise study so that the degree holders in this field can handle any type of sensitive issue related to ocean and its impact on the coastal areas. Hence there are numerous available degrees at various levels. At the post graduate level, MSc is offered in Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies.
