Master of Management Studies (MMS)

Master of Management Studies (MMS), is a two years Postgraduate management Study Degree course in India. The aim of master Study is to prepare candidates to explore management profession. The course gives adequate exposure to the operational environment in the field of management and inculcates training which is used for modern technology in Industries and Organizations by providing them with suitably trained personnel. Management is an Organizational activity which is the act of getting people together to accomplish desired goals and objectives efficiently and effectively. The master’s study develops the ability to Research, Plan, Develop Process, and Procedures that ensure Organizational performance. The study adequate basic and in-depth knowledge and understanding about management education among the candidates, the techniques and skills enhance practical knowledge besides theoretical understands through excellent training, case studies, project, industrial visits, presentations, etc. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as Financial Account, Business Law, Business Statistics, Business Communication, Business Environment, Industrial Law, Cost Accounting, Environmental Management, Marketing Management, Business Aspects in Banking & Insurance, Public Relation Management, Research Methodology in Business, Human Resource Management, Service Sector Management, International Marketing, Economic.

Eligibility

The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent examination,with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Degree professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.

Further Study

After the successful completion of master’s degree course, candidates can pursue for,PhD (Doctorate in Management Studies ) or do specialisation and research oriented work in their respective field.
