Rajdhani College was established in 1964 by the Delhi Administration in Kirti Nagar, New Delhi under the name of Government College and was renamed as Rajdhani College when the Delhi administration vested its governance in an autonomous Governing Body. Rajdhani College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi and has completed 50 glorious years of academic excellence., The College is situated in West Delhi on Mahatma Gandhi Marg (Ring Road) near Raja Garden, New Delhi and is accessible from all corners of Delhi. To cater the increasing number of students a beautiful and spacious college building was constructed in 1976-77 which was inaugurated by the then President of India Sh. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed. Recently a new academic block has been built to accommodate the ever increasing number of students. The two storeyed new block has eight new class rooms, one computer lab and one biology lab along with a lift. The college complex has an air-conditioned Seminar/Conference Room, an air-conditioned Auditorium, a well-stocked Library with Computer & Internet facility with access to more than one lac scholarly books and ebooks on various subjects. The college has well-equipped Science Laboratories, as well as Math and Computer Laboratories.
