Devi Ahilya University (DAU), Indore Department of of Libray and Information Science The University Library was established in the year 1964 along with the establishment of the university. The University Library is catering to the information needs of the academic community. The university Library started the Bachelor of Library and Information Science Program from the year 1993-94, as a part of time course, with its goals to train the manpower to manage the libraries of the 21st century. The following regular courses have been introduced during 2006:BLISC and MLISc. M.Phil in Library and Information Science has started from the academic year 2009-10.The University Library has qualified, experienced, devoted professional along with the latest information facilities.
