BCECE 2025 will be conducted on the exam date decided by BCECEB. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a State level Common entrance exam organized by BCECEB, also known as Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. BCECE is a state-level common entrance exam organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The primary purpose of this exam is to facilitate admission to Paramedical, Nursing, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Engineering, and Technology colleges in Bihar. BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board also known as BCECEB. The BCECE exam is conducted for admission to various UG courses in the field of Engineering, medicine, Agriculture, and technology. The BCECE is a very competitive exam given by thousands of students for admission to professional degree courses in government and private medical colleges of the Bihar state.

Eligibility Criteria
Admission is open to applicants who meet any of the following criteria:
- Residents of India with parents who are permanent residents of Bihar.
- Children of refugees registered in Bihar.
- Offspring of parents working for the Bihar Government, even if they are residents of other states.
- Children of employees of the pre-reorganization Bihar Government whose positions are still transferable to Bihar/Jharkhand State.
- Dependents of Government of India employees stationed in Bihar or working in Government of India-run institutions or factories in Bihar.
- Offspring of United Nations employees currently stationed in Bihar.
Engineering and Technology (4-Year Course):
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with any combination of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship as specified in Annexure-7.
For Agriculture Engineering:
- Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects combined.
- Alternatively, candidates can have passed a minimum 3-year diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category), subject to availability of vacancies in the first year. In case lateral entry vacancies are filled, universities will provide bridge courses to ensure parity in knowledge.
For Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology, Darbhanga (4-Year Course): (a) Information Technology: Minimum qualification: Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. (b) Computer Science & Engineering: Minimum qualification: Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Science, or Biology.
Pharmacy (Four-Year Course):
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the 10+2/equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects. Applicants appearing for the intermediate or equivalent examination can apply, provided they have passed the 10+2/equivalent examination by the time of interview/counselling.
Physical Examination: Admitted applicants will undergo a medical examination. Admission is granted only if the applicant is declared fit in the examination. A separate fee will be charged for this examination.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for engineering courses. For pharmacy, applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the examination year.
Medical Stream:
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary/I.S.C./equivalent examinations with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for medical stream courses such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Paramedical Graduate Courses. For B.Sc. Nursing, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2 is required.
Age Limit: Minimum age for admission in the medical stream is 17 years as of December 31 of the examination year.
Agriculture Stream:
Eligibility: For courses at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur):
- Bachelor of Agriculture (50% seats): Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- Horticulture Graduate (50% seats): Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- Bachelor of Forestry (50% seats): Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- Bachelor of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (50% seats): Passed I.S.C. (Agriculture) with specified subjects.
For courses at Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna:
- Gavya Technical Graduate (B.Tech Dairy Technology): Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with specified subjects.
- Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (BFSC): Passed I.S.C. or equivalent with specified subjects.
Physical Examination: Applicants selected for admission will undergo a medical examination. Admission is granted only if found eligible in the examination. A separate fee will be charged for this examination.
Age Limit: For admission to Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur), the minimum age is 16 years as of August 31 of the examination year. Minimum age limit is not prescribed.

How to Apply
Application forms for BCECE will be out in the month of February 2022 so all the candidates are advised to stay connected with the official site of BCECE Board to get all the updated details regarding BCECE.
Application Fee
The candidates have to fill the BCECE form through the online mode, after filling all the details and uploading photograph and signature, candidates have to pay the application fees. The application fees is Rs. 1000/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 500/- (for SC and ST candidates).
– The candidates belong to PCMB group are required to pay the application fees of Rs. 1100/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 550/- (for SC and ST candidates). The candidates can pay their fees either through the online mode by using credit/debit card or they can also pat it by using bank challan.
