The Government Medical College and Hospital Combined Entrance Test (GCET) is a university-level nursing and paramedical entrance exam. Organized by Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), it facilitates admission to various programs such as B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology, B.Sc. Medical Technology X-Ray, B.Sc. Medical Technology Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Techniques, and B.Optometry at GMCH Chandigarh.

GMCH Combined Entrance Test Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is as follows

  • Question type – The questions are Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
  • Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 100.
  • Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours.
  • Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English.

Marking Scheme – 

  • Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
  • And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
