About
It is a carrier ladder course for GNM qualified. It enables them to equate with other UG nurses. The purpose of the course is to upgrade the Diploma (GNM) nurses to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. It enables them to pursue post graduate courses. It will also enable them to make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of clients and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in clinical / public health setting.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination
- 50% marks in General Nursing and Midwifery from INC recognized institution.
