Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology etc.

For admission into M.Pharm in JNTU Oil Technological Research Institute, candidates should have passed B.Pharm in the relevant stream from a recognised university with 50% marks overall. They should also secure a valid rank in PGECET. The qualifying marks is 25%
Instead of PGECET, valid rank in GPAT would also be considered for admission into M.Pharm
If a candidate is applying through the category related to sponsorship, minimum one year work experience in any organisation is considered, provided that the candidate is being sponsored by the organisation to undertake M.Tech at JNTU.
Spot admissions would be conducted for any seats left in the Convenor Quota
For admission into M.Pharm in the affiliated colleges of JNTU, especially the private colleges, the seats of Category A students are filled by the decision of the Convener of PGECET and the seats of Category B are filled by the decision of the Management in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as far as the eligibility is concerned.

As mentioned in the eligibility criteria section, the candidates are selected into these courses on the basis of the rank secured in the respective entrance tests
The norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh are taken into account in terms of preparing the final merit list for admission.
