Eligibility Criteria
- For admission into M.Tech in the constituent colleges of JNTU and into M.Pharm in JNTU Oil Technological Research Institute, candidates should have passed B. Tech in the relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks overall. They should also secure a valid rank in PGECET. The qualifying mark is 25%
- A valid rank in GATE would also be taken into consideration instead of PGECET for admission into M.Tech.
- If a candidate is applying through the category related to sponsorship, a minimum of one-year of work experience in any organization is considered, provided that the candidate is being sponsored by the organization to undertake M.Tech at JNTU.
- Spot admissions would be conducted for any seats left in the Convenor Quota
- For admission into M.Tech in the affiliated colleges of JNTU, especially the private colleges, the seats of Category A students are filled by the decision of the Convener of PGECET and the seats of Category B are filled by the decision of the Management in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as far as the eligibility is concerned
Selection Criteria
- As mentioned in the eligibility criteria section, the candidates are selected into these courses on the basis of the rank secured in the respective entrance tests
- The norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh are taken into account in terms of preparing the final merit list for admission.
Fee Structure
- ₹38,750 (1st Year Fees)
- Registration Fee: Rs.1000/- for each application should be paid through demand draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, JNTUA, payable at Ananthapuramu. (SBI, JNTUEC Branch code: 2723).
