Manipal University Jaipur invites online applications from eligible individuals for admission to both full-time and part-time PhD programs. The academic session is set to commence in January 2024. Established in 2011 through an invitation from the Government of Rajasthan, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) operates as a self-financed State University. MUJ has set new standards for academic excellence in the region, employing the Manipal way of learning. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with a Master’s degree from any UGC-recognized academic institution (with at least 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 and above on a 10-point scale) are eligible to register for a PhD at MUJ.
- For candidates with qualifying degrees from foreign universities/institutions, PhD registration at MUJ will be confirmed after equivalence determination by the Directorate of Research (DoR).
- Candidates can register for a PhD in a department relevant to their field of study, with the degree awarded from the Faculty in which they obtained their PG degree.
- Master’s degree qualifying marks apply.
- Candidates with M.Phil/UGC-CSIR NET/JRF/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellow qualifications are exempted from the entrance examination.

Selection Process
- The selection of research scholars will be based on performance in both the written test and interview conducted by the University.
