About NISM Mumbai
The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute conducts various capacity building activities at different levels with the objective of improving the quality standards in the securities markets.
Program Offered
- Course : Post Graduate Program in Investments & Securities Markets (PGPISM)
- Duration : One-year full time residential program
- Course : Post Graduate Program in the Securities Market (Portfolio Management / Investment Advisory / Research Analysis) PGP (PM/IA/RA)
- Duration : 15 months, Weekend programme (Saturdays – 6 pm to 9:15 pm & Sunday – 10 am to 5:00 pm)

- Last Date for Application : May 15, 2024
- Date of commencement of interviews : Dates will be intimated separately
- Commencement of Program : June 03, 2024 (Monday)
PGP (PM/IA/RA)
- Last Date for Application : 28th March, 2024
- Date of commencement of interviews : Dates will be communicated separately
- Declaration of 1st Merit List : 15th May, 2024
- Commencement of Program : 1st June, 2024
Eligibility Criteria
For PGPISM
- Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. OR
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university in India.
For PGP (PM/IA/RA)
- Graduates from any discipline (completed with final degree certificates and mark sheet at the time of application) from a recognized University under 10+2+3 scheme are eligible to apply for this program.
Application Process
- For PGPISM : Candidates willing to apply should first register themselves on https://apply.nism.ac.in/pgpism-application-form
- For PGP : Candidates willing to apply should first register themselves on https://apply.nism.ac.in/pgp
Step 1: New Registration: After successful registration, a User-ID and Password will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID and mobile number.
Step 2: Application Process: Subsequently, candidates must log in and complete the application process by paying the application fee. Upon payment of the application fee of Rs. 500/-, candidates may submit their application.
Selection Criteria
PGPISM:
Candidates for the program will be selected based on the screening of applications, taking into account academic records, professional experience/qualification, extracurricular activities, and prior experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview. Admission will be offered to candidates who qualify in the online interviews.
PGP (PM/IA/RA):
Selection of candidates will be based on their profile and performance in the personal interview conducted online.
