PGDBA 2024 will be held on 17 March 2024. IIT Kharagpur, IIM Calcutta, and ISI jointly organize the PGDBA 2024. Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must hold a graduate/ post graduate degree with 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 5 or 10 + 2 + 3 + 2, with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent). One-year MBA will not be considered equivalent of M.Sc./ M.Com.
- Candidates with 10 + 3 (Engineering diploma) + 3 (lateral entry into B.E./ B.Tech.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E.), or with 10 + 2 + 4 (B.Sc.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Sc.), or with B.Com. + CA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA considered together) are also eligible.
- For SC/ST and Person with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates, the qualifying marks for eligibility shall be 55% or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
- The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks even if the degree awarding Institute provides marks in CGPA system. Their admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the eligibility of a candidate will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10- point scale.
- Candidates, who are in the final year, are also eligible to apply provided they appear in the final examination and complete other academic requirements as specified above by 15 June 2023. For such cases, admission will be provisional subject to submission of final mark sheet by 30 November 2023.
Fees
The programme fee for the 2-year programme for the 2023-25 batch is Rs 25 lakhs. The fee needs to be paid in four equal instalments at the time of registration for each semester. Late payment of fees will incur penalties as per the policy of each Institute. The fees will cover tuition, on-campus lodging, some books and study materials, examination materials, and laboratory charges, among others. Programme fee will NOT cover caution money, food related expenses, lodging and any travel expenses that the students may incur in the 4th Semester when they visit any industrial location.

Marking Scheme
- Candidates get +3 mark for correct answer.
- The negative marking is -1 mark for incorrect answer.
Selection Criteria
A candidate’s final score for selection is calculated on the basis of Table 1, which indicates the criteria and their weights to be used for the final selection to PGDBA for the batch 2023-25.

: Engineering Diploma Results will be considered only for those candidates who have done Engineering Diploma after Class X.

The PGDBA Admission Committee will consider all the above performance indicators in order to come up with the final merit list. Minimum qualification in accordance with the above-mentioned criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for admission into PGDBA. Any suppression of fact or false information will lead to rejection of candidature at any stage of the selection process.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) or equivalent. Candidates with a valid score in CAT/GRE/GMAT/JRF (NET)/GATE are eligible to apply.
