TISSNET, previously conducted by the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), has been replaced by CUET PG. This transition means that admission to all postgraduate courses will now be governed by CUET PG, except for two courses, which will rely on the CAT management entrance test. The decision to make this change was influenced by directives from the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission, which stipulate the adoption of CUET for postgraduate program admissions across central, state, and other participating universities.
TISSNET 2024 registrations will not take place. Those interested in applying for TISS PG courses should complete the CUET PG or CAT application form to participate in the admission process.

Candidates can apply for TISSNET 2024 in online mode as mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of TISS
- Register with required details, including name, email id, etc.
- On successful registration, a new login credential will be created
- Use this login id to fill the application form
- Enter personal, academics, professional details, details of annual income and caste category
- Upload scanned copies of photograph and signature as per the specifications
- Pay the TISSNET registration fee as mentioned for each category
- Preview and submit the application form
- Take a printout of the application form

How to Obtain TISSNET Application Form Offline
Candidates belonging to remote areas where internet facility is not available can send a request for TISSNET application form along with the requisite application fee (category-wise and number of courses) by speed post. TISS Mumbai will send the application form along with the prospectus to the candidates within a week of receiving the request.
- Fill the TISSNET application form with the required details
- Select the preferred programme
- Take a printout of the filled up application form
- Paste a passport-size coloured photograph and sign at the space provided
- Send the application form to back to the official address with photocopies of the required documents (caste certificates, income certificates, application fee receipt, etc.)
