Eligibility Criteria

MBA in Oil & Gas Management ProgramUPES MET Exam
– Candidates should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
– Candidates should be Engineering / B.Sc (PCM) graduates with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

MBA in Energy Trading Program
– Candidates should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
– Candidates should have graduation in Commerce / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics / CA / ICWA / B.Tech / B.Sc (PCM) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.

– Candidates who have MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC and GMAT scores of either the same or previous year, are exempted from taking the UPESMET exam 

MBA in Aviation Management
– Candidates should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
– Candidates should have graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

Cut Off

Minimum cut off for admission through the national level entrance tests

 Note: 30 per cent of the seats are filled through the national level entrance tests. In case such seats are vacant, then UPES will fill those seats through UPESMET.

Reservation of Seats 

• 15 per cent seats in all programmes are reserved for the candidates belonging to the state of Uttarakhand 
•  Such candidates need to provide ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’ certificate
• However, if these seats remain unfilled in the category then it will be treated as unreserved

Reservation Seats

For Uttrakhand bona fide resident candidates: 15% of the seats in all programs will be reserved for residents of Uttrakhand subject to production of “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate) issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State. These seats will get allotted strictly based on the merit positions secured in this category, provided the candidate has declared his intent to opt under this category at the time of applying for admission.

Exam Cities

Kindly refer to the following table for filling up the OMR/ Online Application form. Candidates are cautioned to fill the City code and shade correctly as the allotment of required Test City will be based on this information only. Candidates need to give both first & second choice as per their city preference in OMR/Online Application form.

Exam Process

• Take a Demo Test. Students are recommended to take a demo test to practice and resolve queries before the examination. Click here 
• Login credentials for online exam. Actual credentials (passkey) to appear for the exam on the chosen date will be provided to students one day prior to the exam on their registered email id and mobile number. This should not be confused with the demo link passkey.
• The examination Test window will be from 10 am to 2 pm.
  Students can log in during the given timeframe and begin with the online test. The timer starts when the student login.
• Interviews to follow exam and slot booking 

Paper Pattern

The University reserves the right to make changes in curricula, degree requirements, course offerings, student intake and academic regulations or change of location at any time without assigning any reason or prior notice. The said change may apply not only to prospective students but also to those who are already enrolled with the University.
