Eligibility:
Undergraduate Programs (B.Des):
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year of application are also eligible to apply.
- For some programs, additional requirements may apply. Such as NIFT, UCEED, or NID entrance exam scores, portfolio submissions, etc.
Postgraduate Programs (M.Des):
- Pass in a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree in the year of application are also eligible to apply.
- For some programs, additional requirements may apply. Such as GATE or CEED entrance exam scores, portfolio submissions, etc.
Application Process:
- Apply Online: Visit the WUD website and fill up the online application form.
- Upload Documents: Upload all required documents such as academic certificates, mark sheets, entrance exam scores (if applicable), portfolio (if applicable), etc.
- Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card or net banking.
- Aptitude Test and Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an aptitude test and interview.
- Admission Offer: Successful candidates will be offered admission based on their performance in the aptitude test, interview, and portfolio (if applicable).
Application Fee:
- Undergraduate Programs: INR 1500/-
- Postgraduate Programs: INR 2000/-
Fees:
- The fees for undergraduate programs vary from INR 4.5 Lakhs to INR 7.5 Lakhs per annum.
- The fees for postgraduate programs vary from INR 6.5 Lakhs to INR 9.5 Lakhs per annum.
