Era University, Lucknow Department of Biochemistry The department of Biochemistry besides the teaching and training of undergraduate M.B.B.S students, is also engaged in the academic and research activities of postgraduate students. The department is equipped with every possible modern amenity. We have all the requisites for the various biochemical parameters and anti-oxidant analysis. We also possess the state of art facility for tissue culture/in-vitro in which we can grow the cells from different organs for screening of different ligands. This facility is basically used for primary screening of various drugs. The department is conducting research projects funded by DST ICMR and UP-CST. Several Ph.D. students are also working in the department in collaboration with different CSIR Labs Department has advanced facilities of Clinical Biochemistry analysis for the better patient care and treatment. Our Laboratory provides computerized biochemistry and Endocrinology report validated by authorized signatory for following tests, by Enhanced chemiluminiscence and routine clinical biochemistry investigations by Dry Chemistry AnalyzerVitros - 5600, HbA1c, Troponin T, Lipase, G6PD, Microalbumin, 24 hr Urine Protein, Glucose, KFT, LFT, Lipid Profile, Direct LDL, Uric Acid, Pro Calcitonin, Ionic Calcium, Total Serum Protein, Unice Micro Albumin, Amylase, Creatinine Kinase, LDH, Sodium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Lithium, Urine Microprotein, Thyroid Function Test, Fertility Hormones, Tumor Markers, Cardiac Markers, TIBC, Feritin, Folate, Insulin etc and certain COVID-19 Virus Markers. Department has published More than 50 Research papers in the Journal of National & International repute in last year.
