Academic conferences have been conducted by faculty members. The research work of our faculty members has been appreciated and well acclaimed and has been published in various national and international journals. Information Common Diseases The Department of Ophthalmology, ELMC&H is taking care of all common ocular diseases, both extraocular and intraocular. Usual surgeries performed include I.O.L. implantation for cataract using SICS & PHACO technique, glaucoma surgery & surgery for Lid & Lacrimal sac diseases, Squint surgery. The department is equipped also with advance equipment viz. OCT, Nd-YAG Laser, Automated Perimeter, FFA Unit and Green Laser.
