The core focus of this workshop is the application of Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) in detecting heavy metals in aquatic systems. Metals enter water bodies through weathering of rocks, volcanic eruptions, and human activities such as mining and industrial processing. Exposure to these heavy metals poses significant health hazards to living organisms.
During the workshop, participants will receive comprehensive training on the AAS instrument. Additionally, the event covers possible consultancy processes and regular workshops provided on instruments including AAS, CHNS/O, UV, and Biogas plants.
Eligibility & Registration
The workshop is open to participants interested in environmental engineering, mechanical, chemical, and biotechnology fields. Registration fees for the event are set at Rs. 750. Please note that accommodation is not available for this specific workshop. Upon successful completion of the training, certificates will be provided to all participants.
