Nur Mohammad Smriti Mahavidyalaya Established in 2008, is situated at Dhuliyan in the district of Murshidabad. It is situated beside N.H. 34 between Jubilee Filling Station and Tarapur Hospital. The college started functioning in its beautiful new building a few years back. The College is surrounded by a beautiful and pastoral setting. It has a nice play ground covered with green grass.
Established in 2005, Lalgola College started its academic session in 2006-07 with a mere 65 students. Presently the number of students is almost 3200. Lalgola College has been permanently affiliated to the University of Kalyani and has got recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC). With the establishment of Kandi Raj College in 1950 the long cherished dreams of the people of Kandi Sub division were finally fulfilled. With just 61 students, the college started its journey on 4th September, 1950, occupying only five rooms of Kandi Raj High School. At that time it was affiliated to Calcutta University. Today it has its own building complex and boasts of a student strength that is in excess of 2,000.
