Shri Baba Mastnath Math is the oldest and the most popular place of Nath Sect belonging to Kanpada Yogies. This is the main Tapasthali (place of worship) of Nath Yogies and is situated on the outskirts of Rohtak city, near M.D. University and adjacent to Tilyar Tourist Complex, Rohtak. Sat Jinda Kalyana College was established in 1971 at Kalanaur. The town Kalanaur in District Rohtak is famous for its religious gurus and muths, popularly known as ‘Tikanas’. In a long tradition of philanthropic works, Sat Jinda Kalyana College was established by the Tikana of the same name under the auspices of Mahant Shri Jamna Dass Ji. The dedicated effort of his enlightened and socially aware followers helped to give this dream a particular shape and the S.J.K.

Vaish Mahila Mahavidyalya, Rohtak was founded in 1973 as the Girls’ section of Vaish College, Rohtak by Vaish Education Society to promote and encourage higher education for girls in this region. In 1992, the college got the status of an independent college, affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and has been receiving grant from UGC from the session 1997-98.
