Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is situated in the premises of the Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh. It is situated at a distance of four kilometers from the Aligarh Railway Station. It is one of the important colleges of the Aligarh Muslim University, the Faculty of Medicine and the aim of the college is to provide under-graduate and post-graduate medical education and research facilities in the College.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College was ranked as the 12th best among 400 Medical Colleges of India in a survey by India Today- Neilson in 2016. The college has a cherished history and earned for itself a place of pride in the field of medical education. It was established in 1962 and is part of the Aligarh Muslim University with the mission to provide excellent knowledge as well as rigorous training that will prepare the students to meet the professional, scientific and clinical challenges.
