The Arts and Crafts Education Society was formed in the year 1953, and later on in the year 1985 it came to be known as L. S. Raheja Technical Institute. In 1994 Visual and Communication Art was added to the existing courses with the sole motive of providing opportunities to the students who wanted to make their career in this field.
