Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Govt Medical Science and Research Institute was established in 2008 the medical courses are approved by Medical Council of India, New Delhi. The Medical college aims to house well equipped facilities like laboratories for various departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology etc. The three lecture theatres have sitting capacity of more than 140 students each and are equipped with latest teaching aids.
