AISST was established 6 years ago with a view to impart holistic education in Space Science and aircraft engineering. Our institute has experienced professionals from Indian Air force, DRDO, ISRO and HAL, who has been associated with aircrafts & space crafts systems for a decade or two. We have extremely good laboratory facility in Avionics, Radar and other electronics subsystems. We have a System Simulation lab with software & hardware interface.

The institute has started M.Tech and B.Tech. Courses in Solar and Alternative Energy. Being the first course of its kind in the country, it was a challenging job to have undertaken. The programme comprises of conceptual knowledge of solar and other renewable energy systems.

At Amity , we believe in rewarding the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavours. As part of this ongoing initiative, in 2010 over Rs. 50 crores worth of Scholarships have been awarded to students on need or merit basis.

Keeping in tune with the development in the educational strategies around the globe, Amity University is pioneering courses in application oriented subjects. The establishment of the Amity Institute of Anthropology (AIA) has been an outcome of this visionary approach of our Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, which aims at catering to the needs of the community it serves and providing its students with a competitive edge in their professional pursuits.

There is an increasing pressure on the world’s natural ecosystems to provide a growing population with a sustainable food supply, resources, and land. Natural resources are under grave threat from climate change, water scarcity, land management pressures and unsustainable development practices throughout the world. Management of these resources requires an interdisciplinary approach and a holistic perspective including ecological, economic and social aspects.

ASAP was started in the year 2005 with 18 students. The present strength of the School is appx. 240. The first batch is out & already working as Architects in the profession. The School is recognized by Council of Architecture (CoA) running full time 5 years B.Arch course supported by well qualified and dedicated Core, Part-Time and Visiting faculty. There is also Master of Architecture (Landscape Arch.), approved by CoA established at ASAP in the year 2009.

Energy is the basic requirement for the development and advancement of human civilization. At present bulk of the energy need is being met by fossil fuel which has its associated environmental problems. These problems are becoming serious due to ever-increasing use of the fossil fuels which are not likely to last too long. It obviously necessitates the search for an alternative source of energy for sustainable development.

Amity Institute of Environmental Science (AIES) is an interdisciplinary centre of learning, established as a part of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. This institute is currently running two Masters Programmes, viz. M.Sc. (Environmental Sciences) and M.Tech. (Environmental Engineering).
