Goa University, Goa Department of French and Francophone Studies The department offers post graduate courses in French. The Master's degree of the Department is professionally oriented and opens up opportunities for research, also training students for Teaching, Translation and careers in the corporate sector. The Department of French and Francophone Studies has launched programmes that are innovative and utility oriented. The study programme shows a balanced proportion of Literature, Translation, Methodology, Language learning and Culture Studies.Any other special achievement by students/staff:A scholarship was offered by the Government of France to Ms. Irene Silveira in Sept. 04 for a "Poste d' Assistante" in Poitiers, France, from Sept. 04 to Apr. 05.
