The College provides teaching through lectures and field facilities for giving adequate work experience for the Diploma courses and practical for student. Now the teaching is done under the semester system. Much stress is being given at the Diploma level to train the students in all the farm operations as per recent technology. They have to raise all the important field and horticultural crops of the State in museum in the college farm under the `work experience' programmed. In the final year of the course, they are given intensive field training in the different Research Station, Agro- industries and Agri- cooperatives, where they get proper exposure to the practical problems in agriculture. Thus make the students fully competent to face field problems in their future official career. Also most useful in the establishment of tribal area development. The total land area is 4.71 ha and out of which 2.19 ha is under cultivation and 2.52 ha is under road, farm buildings, shades, play ground etc., Mission and Objective, (I) To generate middle level technician for Agricultural field, laboratory research work, commercial enterprise and extension services., (II) To provide theoretical and practical training to the students in Agricultural.
