Department of Advertising Management and Public Relations
The Department of Advertising Management & Public Relations aims at creating a community of Advertising Management & Public Relations to reckon in this new millennium. It undertakes to perform this task by equipping talented young manpower to meet the challenges of working life. The department was established in 1995 under the Faculty of Media studies and offered Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations. Fulfilling the demand for trained & educated manpower in the field of Advertising & PR, it was converted to 2 yr Post Graduate Degree Course in 2005.
The department has small but brilliant faculty, a combination of experience ( 2 regular) and young minds ( 7 contractual).
There are students from Haryana and other neighbouring states. The department has an appropriate male/female ratio which very well shows the changing trends of empowered women in Haryana.
The course is regularly updated and the latest revision was in June 2007. As per the demand of the time, a transparent "Credit based system" of evaluation is being implemented in the University. The course curriculum is comparable with that of leading Universities and institutions in India.
