The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks to combine excellence in education & research with service to society was established in year 2004 duly approved by AICTE. After a sort span of its establishment department realize need of the industries. So Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering was started in year 2006 with a vision to cater the need of industries like aerospace, defense & scientific industry. The nomenclature of M.Tech. programme is Mechanical Engineering. The Students trained under this program will be capable enough to take challenges related to the Design & Manufacturing. The department was sanctioned with intake of 60 students in B.Tech & 20 students in M.Tech. Moreover PhD program has also started in the field of design in Department. Some Faculty members are having experience of research and industries and others having appropriate experience in academics. The Department is equipped with excellent lab facilities.
