Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar 1. M.TECH. (COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS) The minimum qualification for admission for the First year of the programme shall be open to a candidates who possesses any of the following qualifications: B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent in the Electronics & Communication Engineering or B.Tech./B.E. in Information Technology or Instrumentation Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering or M.Sc. Applied Physics with specialization in Electronics with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. "Admission is based exclusively on the merit of the candidate in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the University". 2. B.TECH. (ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING) The candidates having passed 10+2 examination with Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Mathematics (M) and English (E) from Punjab School Education Board/C.B.S.E. or any other examination recognized by Guru Nanak Dev University as equivalent thereto with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics (P),Chemistry (C),Mathematics (M) and English (E) shall be eligible. "Admission is based on the merit of the candidate in the State Level Entrance Test (CET)". 3. B.TECH. (ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS) The candidates having passed 10+2 examination with Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Mathematics (M) and English (E) from Punjab School Education Board/C.B.S.E. or any other examination recognized by Guru Nanak Dev University as equivalent thereto with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics (P),Chemistry (C),Mathematics (M) and English (E) shall be eligible.
