NPTI has established a Centre for Advanced Management and Power Studies (CAMPS) at the Corporate Office, Faridabad for the higher echelons of Power Sector. Under the auspices of CAMPS, a 2-year MBA in Power Management Program is was launched program in 2000 in Power Management one of its kind in the sub-continent to meet the huge requirement of Power Managers in Ministry of Power is massive efforts of attaining self-sufficiency in Power Sector and run the Indian Power Sector on Commercial lines. This MBA Program duly approved by AICTE is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak., This Program with a Difference has a special emphasis on reforming Power Sector issues and ethos to give extra strength to Indian Power Sector Engineers applying management theories and concepts to live problems of electricity industry in these challenging times. This Post-Graduate program also provides cutting edge qualities to develop Business leaders and decision makers with appropriate managerial and technical skills capable of thinking innovatively and duly sensitized to social and environmental interface searching for alternative solutions and run the Indian Power Sector more effectively and efficiently. Till 2011 i.e. 8th batch, the intake for the program was 60 seats, out of which 20 seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from power sector organizations. From 2010 onwards i.e. from 9th batch onwards, the intake of the program is increased to 120 seats., The MBA Program is well accepted by the industry and NPTI has excellent track record of campus placement of these students.
