Located in S.C.R. Polytechnic is started in 2007, as a Self-Financed Institute by Sir Chotu Ram Educational Society in the memory of Sir Chotu Ram. The Institution is situated in village Gohiya (Jind) and is affiliated to the Haryana State Board of Technical Education. S.C.R. Polytechnic has emerged as a Polytechnic of Excellence during the past few decades.S.C.R. Polytechnic College, is one of the leading polytechnic in the State of Haryana. It was established in 2007 and began offering diploma courses. The institution has been named after the great Indian leader Sir Chotu Ram. Presently Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg. & Computer Engg. courses are being conducted in the institution. All the courses are AICTE approved courses and the institution is affiliated with State Board of Technical Education, Haryana. The admissions to the courses is made through State level entrance examinations and counseling procedure.
