Gateway College of Architecture and Design was initiated in 2008 by an architect Mr Rakesh Aggarwal and his business partner Mr HP Mangla. They were already well established in the field of education as they were running an international school in Sonipat and had been associated with both school and higher education earlier., The initiation of this college was supported by Professor Anil Kumar a retired Dean of Deen Bandhu Chotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal who has been teaching architecture since 1975. This school of architecture was started with the intent of creating a model school using contemporary technology as teaching aid., The Gateway College of Architecture and Design owes its heartfelt gratitude to Professor Anil Kumar for the initiation of this college which has today blossomed into an institution of its own. He has been the retired Dean at Deen Bandhu Chotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal who has also been teaching architecture here since 1975., Gateway College of Architecture and Design is affiliated with Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology. Our mission is to provide quality education to students in order to make them realise their strength & soar high with their knowledge., The Gateway College of Architecture and Design GCAD has been initiated by the Gateway Education & Charitable Society. It creates a platform where students can use the latest technology for creating an effective teaching-learning environment without losing the use of hands on the machines in the world of architecture and design. It envisions the creation of well-rounded personalities capable of producing meaningful architecture and design and headed toward the creation of a model school of architecture that others can emulate with ultimately an open-access database that makes the students possible from anywhere to access the teaching material generated by faculty.
