Govt. Degree College Drang at Narla, District Mandi was notified on 26th June, 2006 and inaugurated on 15th Nov, 2006. College Campus facilitated with College building, Library, ground and stadium was constructed on 64 bighas of land in village Jundhar in Narla Valley., The foundations stone for Arts block 'A' and Administrative Block 'B' was laid on 21 April, 2007 and were inaugurated and dedicated to public on 24 April, 2012., The faculty of Arts having all undergraduate classes with subjects viz. English, Economics, Sociology, Geography, Political Science, History, Mathematics, Hindi, Music Vocal and Environment Science were started. The courses of Science and Commerce were also started in the 2014-15 academic year., During a short span of just 8 years the institution has achieved distinction among newly opened Degree Colleges in terms of academics, infrastructure and administrative set up., Vision, To be a vibrant and innovative centre for education, to equip students with knowledge and skills in their chosen stream, inculcate values, identify hidden talents, provide opportunities for students to realize their full potential and thus shape them into future leaders, entrepreneurs and above all good human beings., Mission, The emphasis of the college centres all around development of students personality and inculcation of solid moral, ethical and spiritual qualities in them with motto that the education is the real manifestations of perfection already present in man to render meaning full contribution to society and nation's progress and to develop human potential to its fullest extent so that intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can emerge in a range of professions.
