Integral University, Lucknow The Department of Environmental Science was established in 2012.Initially the Department functioned as a teaching –unit for different disciplines of engineering. Doctoral research was started in 2008. At present the Department offers the PhD. Degree program in Environmental Science. The Department has permanent as well as visiting faculty members. The major research areas are: basic and applied ecology, pollution, environmental biology, environmental impact assessment, microbiology, environmental chemistry, bio remediation, resource studies, environmental toxicology, waste management and Environmental carcinogenesis.
