The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in the year 2004, with Diploma and Bachelor courses in Pharmacy. Now the Faculty consists of the following departments for M. Pharm and Ph.D. Programs:

Research & Development :
Cardiovascular Research :
=> Role of medicinal plants in the treatment and protection of myocardial necrosis. Evaluation of drugs used by Avicenna for cardiovascular diseases.
=> Pharmacology of Khamira Abresham Arshadwala ( Unani polyherbal preparation).
=> At present, newer approach to study role of Abresham (Bombyx mori cocoon) alone and its combinations in stress-induced myocardial necrosis and heart failure.
Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry :
=> Immunomodulatory and immunosuppressant plants.
=> UPCST , Lucknow Project on:‘Development, characterization, biodistribution and anti-cancer activity of novel oil based nano-emulsions of Quercitin and Rutin bioactivities for oral delivery of 9 Lacs (Approx.)
Nanotechnological Research :
=> Studies on the development of newer drug delivery system
Pharmaceutical Chemistry :
=> Drug designing, synthesis and biological evaluation of newer molecules for epilepsy and inflammation etc
Hepatoprotective Research :
=> Chemoprotective evaluation of medicinal plants in chemically- induced hepato-carcinogenesis.
=> Effectiveness of Nigela saitva and Honey in hepatic damage.
Peptic Ulcer Research :
=> Evaluation of Indian medicinal plants in the treatment and protection of peptic ulcer in different testing models.
