The programme is structured such that a student can pursue different specialized streams in various domains of engineering branch specific. The offer of global electives helps students to appreciate and learn more with respect to other domains of engineering., The doctoral programme is for a minimum period of three years and maximum of five years. Compulsory course work forms a part of the research programme wherein the research scholars register for four courses during the first year followed by a comprehensive examination defence. Successful completion of course work and comprehensive defence permits the scholars to continue their research and submit their dissertation subject to publication of a minimum of two research publications in peer reviewed SCI/Scopus indexed journals prior to submission and open defence post evaluation of thesis., JIT is firmly focused on delivering quality education that equips students for life and career.
