Karpagam University, Coimbatore The department was started in the year 2002 to meet the demands of bioinformatics companies, research institutes and provide necessary qualified and skilled manpower based on current trends and skill sets required. The Department has well qualified staff with industrial and research experiences. The special supports procured by the department is computing facility, financial support for research , visiting faculties/ guest faculties, subject related special training/ industrial visits, Faculty Development Programmes, for organizing National level Seminars/Conferences and for arranging Industrial visits for the benefits of the students.
