The Department of Computer Applications and Information Technology was established in the year1999 with UG and PG programs in Computer Applications. The UG degree in Information Technology was introduced in the year 2007. To ensure that our students receive the highest quality education, our curriculum incorporates various courses from Net working, Web designing, Information technology and software engineering focusing on meeting the needs of IT and IT enabled services within an organizational and societal context. The department has a band of dedicated faculty with expertise in current technologies.

Infrastructure :
Our Department is having 3 labs supported by 9 centralized HP servers, 180 clients, LCD projector & Audio system. We are having 1Gbps BSNL internet connectivity under NME-ICT project and 45 Mbps Airtel leased line, all our labs are connected with fiber back bone network and our campus is wify enabled.
