Karpagam University, Coimbatore The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, established in 2009, has well qualified; passionate and dedicated staff most of who are engaged in path breaking research and development. The Department offers one UG programme in full time and one in part time (for practicing engineers), and 3 PG Programmes: VLSI Design and Wireless Communications, Embedded Systems. Research programmes: Ph.D. in full time and part time are offered in the various PG specializations of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The research specializations of the department are VLSI Design, Wireless Communications, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Digital image processing, Neural network, Human machine interface, Digital signal Processing, etc. The Department hasten well equipped, state of the art, laboratories in the major areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering and extends sufficient Computing and library facilities.
