LNCT is the first self financed engineering college established in 1994 at Bhopal,the state capital of Madhya Pradesh.The management is pleased to inform its students and all the well-wishers that thecollege got the permission for starting the additional B.E. course of Information Technology for the first time in the state from the session 1999-2000.In the september 1998 the college shifted to its permanent campus at Kalchuri nagar, Raisen road on a plot of land having 25 acre area. Being a result oriented institute full emphasis is laid on the acadamic performance of the students.As result of this in third consicutive years LNCTians have bagged all the top branch position in the result of 7th sem B.E. held in Jan 2000.This will be 7th batch taking admission in B.E. and third batch in M.C.A.For the sustained development and to meet the demand of qualified engineers for hi-tech projects, the country needs continuous supply of quality technical manpower in various fields of engineering based projects,Industry and production units etc.Contineous supply of engineers is required for giant industries such as BHEL, TELCO, Power Generations, Steel Projects, PetroChemical and defense establishment etc.In the view of these fact upcomming demands for qulified engineers, the government has given permission to private sector to enter the field of engineering education.In 1994 the LNCT was set up as the first private engineering college at Bhopal In 1998 the college has been moved to a larger campus area of 25 acre. The authority of this engineering college is financially not dependent on any other organizations. It is one of the private colleges in Bhopal to receive an approval from AICTE of New Delhi., Lakshmi Narain College of Technology in Bhopal has received affiliation from Rajeev Gandhi Technological University of Bhopal. It is also affiliated to Barkatullah University of Bhopal. The institution has been established to disseminate technological knowledge to the students of the state of Madhya Pradesh., This college of Technology is the first institute in Madhya Pradesh to commence a degree course in Information Technology. Lakshmi Narain College of Technology has already trained some meritorious students who have been recruited by top companies of the country.
