Located in Govt. Polytechnic College, khargone was established in 1990 as women’s Polytechnic for providing better aspects of Education to women’s in Technical Education. In 2008 it declared as Co-Ed institute Initially the institute was stared with capacity of 30 students & one Department “Commercial Practice ” has now achieved a milestone of having capacity of 540 students & Five Departments offering various diploma & certificate courses. In 1995 the “Commercial Practice” department was upgraded as “Modern Office Management”. In the same year in view of growing demand of Electronics & Costume Design two new departments namely “Electronics & Telecommunication’ & “Costume Design & Dress Making” was introduced., In India during 2000 the demand of Human Resource in the field of Software Profession was at Peak level. Thus to provide new aspects of Education & to fulfill requirement of Human Resource the “Information Technology” department was formed. 2006 was not only Historical Year but also a Gold feather in History of Institute with approval for “Computer Science & Engineering” department from RGPV Bhopal & merging of “Costume Design & Dress Making” into Fashion Technology., The college campus is situated along Umar Khali Road, Near Bistan Naka, Khargone, approximately 3 KM from Bus Station towards South. Auto Rickshaws are available 24 Hrs. Khargone (खरगोन) is a city and a municipality in Khargone district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Khargone region was formerly known as West Nimar (पश्चिम निमाड़). It is the administrative headquarters of Khargone District. It is situated at the bank of River Kunda. KHARGONE is famous for cotton and chilly production. It is also famous for Navgraha Mandir, a temple devoted to the Nav Grahas (Nine Planets] Khargone is about 150 Km from Indore 90 Km away from Khandwa, a major junction of Central railway.
