Government Polytechnic College, Khurai Established under "Open Door Policy" of Govt.of India as a Non-Govt.Polytechnic Khurai started functioning as an Institution of Technical Education for Three Diploma in Engineering Programmes, viz Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Later on it was taken over by the Govt. of M.P. It was the first Polytechnic in the state of M.P. to be designated as community Polytechnic by Govt.of India.
