Located in M.S.P.Mandal's, Balbhim Arts, Science and Commerce College, Beed saw the honour of dawn in 1960. The founding fathers of our institution were the towering personalities hailing from mofussil areas and hence they started a college with a logo Journey from darkness to light, non-realization to realization, avidya to vidya for imparting education to the children from economically weaker sections and depressed classes., Balbhim Arts, Science & Commerce College was inaugurated at the esteemed hands of late Hon'ble Shri Y.B.Chavan, the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra.Our College has been disseminating education among masses for the last four decades. We are proud of our alumni who are making contribution to the fields of administration, commerce, medicine, science and technology etc. The college lays emphasis on the development in academics, co-curricular activities and development of infrastructure facilities., MISSION, The main focus of our college is on inculcation of desire for knowledge in the minds of students hailing from rural area., It aims at promotion of the physical, intellectual, ethical, cultural and educational development of the masses and the neglected sections of the society by running schools, colleges, boardings, institutions of physical education and such other institutions., To raise fund, to cater the educational needs of promising students from the masses., GOALS, To prepare annual teaching plan of course content., To prepare an academic calendar for the implementation of annual teaching plan of course content., To evaluate teaching learning process., To use different teaching methods to supplement teaching process for making it more effective., To implement internal assessment system for regular evaluation of students., To arrange and conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, projects on education and regional issues., To form and run different associations related to socially relevant problems., To practice games and sports for the healthy physical growth of youths., To implement teacher's self-appraisal practice for bringing improvement in their teaching., To acquaint the office staff with new managerial concept in administration., To update the office with modern equipments and technique., To organise educational tours to advanced centres of learning, science, technologies, historical places, caves, forts, seashores, factories, industries etc., To arrange lectures of eminent scientists, historians, dramatists, writers, technologists, social reformers, linguists, politicians, industrialists etc., To organise science exhibition., To organise poster, debating, essay-writing, wall magazine, rangoli and sing competitions., To inspire students to participate in debates, science quizs and other competitions., To organise different extension activities for cultivation of values like national integration, liberty, equality, fraternity, patriotism, humanism, scientific temper, democracy, socialism, peace, altruism, secularism etc., To inculcate the idea of social and civic responsibilities among the students..
