Being the Principal of MGCS Gadchandur, I would like to share my message… One of the most premiere science college ie. Mahatma Gandhi College of Science Gadchandur was established in the year 2007 at Gadchandur city, 50 km to south from the Chandrapur city and which is remotest tribal area of the chandrapur district of the vidarbha region in the Maharashtra. The college is spread in a campus of 03 acres and run the UG degree program Bachlor of science which is affiliated to the Gondawana University , Gadchiroli. The dream to establish the Science college in the tribal area was seen by the founder and great visionary Adv. Shri Vitthalrao Ji Dhote, Ex- MLA of the Rajura Assembly constituency, Madhukarrao Kalshikar,and Late Ramchandra Gore. The dream was come true in the year 2007 through Gadchandur shikshan Prasarak Mandal(GSPM) Gadchandur. The vision was to confer the scientific attitude amongs the stakeholders of the tribal community resides in and around the Korpana Tehsil so that, people will begin to develop the scientific skills among them and nurture the community with their excellence. This College is just power to stakeholders for showing their capability in the field Science for the betterment of the society.
