Shri shivaji Arts & commerce College College was started in Rajura in 1984. Later on, science faculty was introduced in 1992. The science faculty comprises here Zoology, botany, Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. The post- graduation department in history was started started in 1994. Now our college runs post-graduation courses in English, Marathi, Political Science, sociology & Home Science facilities in junior and senior wing along with vocational courses in six subjects. The college has a spacious three-strayed building with teak woods and gmelina (Shivan) trees planted at the east and north of it., On the 3000 meter land in the front, there are different kinds of trees, creepers and a multi-flowered garden. In the west near national highway. We have open extensive playground and gymnasium. In such a beautiful and healthy campus, all facilities of physical education are available in the college. The well equipped laboratories, library with plentiful books and highly qualified teachers impart knowledge to more than two thousand students every year.
