Such was the socio-political atmosphere produced by Mahatma Phule the father of Indian Social unrest and Social revelry which was carried further to the masses by implementing it into practices through his devotional propaganda uncompromising commitment to the Social upliftment of the lower classes, by the Chhatrapati Shahu of Kolhapur., In1930 Kaka started his legal practice in Kolhapur. After some days through the mediation of Kshatarajagaduru he met Chhatrapati Rajaram in 1930 and after that his claseness with Chhatrapati went on increasing. Therefore, Kaka enjoyed the patronage of Chhatrapati.
